Laura Walsh Band District Stage, 7-10pm

    High Energy Country Rock Band
Nashville recording artist and Arizona native, Laura Walsh, is actively involved in the Southwest music scene. Debuting her brand new album, Take Your Time, Laura has been featured as a pre-show opener for Miranda Lambert and Sugarland. As a local regular, she is making a name for herself at such venues as Toby Keith’s I Love This Bar and Grill, Handlebar J, Hard Rock Café, and Martini Ranch.

Her first single, Hit and Run, released in Spring 2011, gave listeners just a taste of the power of her voice and songwriting capabilities. Upon release of the full album, Take Your Time, in May 2012, Laura displays who she is: confident, positive, loving, and strong. Take Your Time represents a rite of passage for a young girl that is knocking on the door of greatness.

“Laura is an incredible new talent! Not only does she sing great and have excellent command as a vocalist, but her lyric writing shows that she has learned the essence of what a good idea can bring to a song. She is a pleasure to work with!” says music industry veteran, Billy Smiley, producer and co-writer for Take Your Time.

Laura is so grateful and excited about the response she has received from local television stations, venues, and audiences of all kinds. She owes all the amazing opportunities that have come her way to God. Laura strives to be an example to young girls and women in the midst of an industry in need of positive messages.

Scott & John of Hello Swindon AMC Fountain, 7-9pm

    Guitar & Percussion Duo
The musical direction of Hello Swindon can only be described as eclectic.

They are just as likely to come with a country–rock ditty as they are to rip into a ska or reggae song. Rock and roll is at the heart of things, but Hello Swindon does it in an acoustic-electric style that retains the energy and fun, but hints at the folksy blues beginnings of America’s greatest gift to the world.

    Think Horses District Stage, 7-10pm

    Original Alternative Band
In ancient Greece, young medical students were exhorted to think horses, not zebras, when they heard the sound of hoofbeats outside; they were encouraged to resist the temptation to second-guess the obvious. A literal endorsement of simplicity. Summer flowers. The sound of a far-off train. One, two, three, just like that, simplicity in music is elusive…in the end it’s best to just listen.

Think Horses are: León – voice & guitar, Theo Belledin – keys and saxes, Adam Clark – batterie, Emilio Caruso – drums, John Chapman – contrabass
