The former “Saturday Night Live” cast member and “In Living Color” creator returns to the stand-up stage. Although he got his start in stand-up, this middle member of the Wayans clan is best known for such films as “I’m Gonna Git You Sucka” and “The Last Boy Scout” as well as such characters as Handiman and Homey the Clown.

Perry’s set is all but certain to include the biggest summer singles of 2008 (“I Kissed a Girl”) and 2010 (“California Gurls”), but this tour is in support of last year’s “Prism,” which added “Roar” and “Dark Horse” to the singer’s string of Hot 100-topping triumphs. Joan Jett was all of 16 when her all-girl jailbait group, the Runaways, kicked off their first release with “Cherry Bomb,” a punk-rock classic Jett had written with Kim Fowley. But more people know her for a song she didn’t write, the Arrows’ B-side “I Love Rock n’ Roll,” which put in seven weeks at No. 1 in 1982 and was followed by more hits with covers (Gary Glitter’s “Do You Wanna Touch Me” and “Crimson and Clover”). Her reputation goes beyond hit singles, though. Like Hynde, she’s been an inspiration to several generations of female musicians who’d rather die than sound like Jewel.

The Biebs has been facing some stiff competition for preteen American hearts from these fresh-faced British pop sensations. Their first album, “Up All Night,” became the first U.K. debut to hit the U.S. charts at No. 1, and their first single, “What Makes You Beautiful,” has gone quadruple-platinum by making young girls swoon while rocking like the ’80s never ended. The skateboarding star of MTV’s “Jackass” franchise takes a break from pranks and broken bones for an evening of stand-up and stories. Since giving up the drink and going vegan in 2008, Steve-O has taken to comedy in addition to his stunt work, so expect plenty of scatological humor and stories about his newfound sobriety.
